Welcome to Homestead Labs, Co. (also known as Shay). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our self-representation platform that helps users buy a home. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

Any information provided by Shay is for informational purposes only and should not be considered as real estate advice.No Legal Advice: Shay does not provide legal advice. Any legal questions or issues should be directed to a qualified attorney.Competitors: By accessing or using our services, you agree that you are not an employee, contractor, agent, or representative of any entity that competes, directly or indirectly, with our business or services. Competitors are expressly prohibited from registering for, accessing, or using our platform for any purpose. We reserve the right to terminate accounts and take appropriate legal action if we determine, in our sole discretion, that a competitor has accessed or used our services in violation of this provision.2. User Responsibilities
By using the platform, you agree to:Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration forms.Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account and password.Use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Refrain from using the platform for any unlawful or prohibited activities.

All content, features, and functionality on the platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and images, are the exclusive property of Shay and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shay, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform.
Any conduct or content of any third party on the platform.
Any content obtained from the platform.
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
5. Disclaimers
The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Shay makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the use or the results of this platform in terms of its correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise. Shay shall have no liability for any interruptions in the use of the platform.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Shay, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, partners, and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
7. Modifications to the Platform and Terms
Shay reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the platform (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
9. Arbitration
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach thereof, or your use of the platform, shall be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The place of arbitration shall be San Francisco, California, and the language of the arbitration shall be English. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
